Chilean Nasturtium, Tropaeolum tricolour

A perennial nasturtium which, unusually, grows and flowers in winter. Stunning red, black and yellow flowers are born in late winter, and are edible in salads or to float on your favourite cocktail. Probably best with some protection in areas other than the south of the UK, where it can be grown outdoors. The plant grows to about 1.2 metres and will need support. Priced for: 9cm potted tuber. This tuber will remain dormant until winter time. The plant grows in the winter period.
