Citrus x floridana. A cross between a kumquat and a key lime. The sweet-tasting fruit is small, oval, greenish yellow and has a bitter sweet pulp that tastes similar to lime. It can be eaten whole, candied, used to flavour cocktails, and the juice and rind can be used to make marmalades. It has high levels of Vitamin C. Can survive occasional temperature spells below freezing but will perform best when kept above 5C. Supplied as a strong 60 - 70 cm high plant, in a 4 litre pot.
