This is a fan-trained specimen, ideal for training against a wall or forming a natural division in the garden.

Pyrus communis. Unusual cooking pear, originating from Holland c. 1850. Brown-green pears are transformed by poaching or stewing into delicious treats. The flesh is pink-red with a lovely pear-drops flavour. Pick: September, Use: October - December. Pollination Group C - suggested partners are Doyenne du Comice or Conference
