Trained in a 4 tier espalier shape, this tree will grow quite happily against a wall, or form a 'natural' divider in the ornamental or vegetable garden.
Pyrus communis - Dessert. Known as the Hazel Pear, this very old variety arose at Hessle near Hull, and was first recorded in 1827. Small greenish-yellow fruit with some russeting. Flesh is white, juicy and fairly sweet. This pear is extremely hardy and reliable, growing and fruiting just about anywhere. Pick in October. Rootstock: Quince A. Priced for a 4-tier espalier tree
