Prunus persica. Despite only growing a few centimetres per year this attractive dwarf peach tree still produces a good crop of large yellow/white and blotchey red-skinned aromatic fruit. Ideal in a pot on a balcony or patio, or it can be planted out in a small garden. Self-fertile. Bears beautiful deep-pink flowers in spring. Pruning is hardly needed; just feed once a year with a good quality fertiliser. Harvest late summer for the best taste. Full sun is best. Priced for a 4 litre pot
