Lonicera caerulea - An exceptional early-season variety, with remarkable cold tolerance and good pest resistance, bearing abundant displays of nutritious antioxidant-rich berries early in the season (May to June). The blue-purple elongated berries have a delightful sweet-tart flavour. Hardy to -15°C or so and happy in sun or part shade. No need for acid soil, so a great alternative to blueberries. Grows to around 1.5m x 1.5m in an upright, dense shape. Priced for a 3 litre pot
