Maincrop. Waxy flesh. A strong robust variety with excellent fungal, bacterial, virus and pest resistance. Java is an ideal variety for gardens and allotments as it is a consistently high-yielding variety with attractive long red-skinned tubers. Ideal for boiling and mashing as it doesn't fall apart in the pan when boiled. Makes lovely dauphinoise as well. Recommended use: Boil, Chip, Mash. Priced for 1 kilo
