Tomato , Green Zebra - Medium (Heirloom Green Stripy)

Solanum lycopersicum, Heirloom Green Stripy, Indeterminate (Cordon), Green Zebra is an eye-catching heirloom tomato variety that stands out for its vibrant appearance, firm flesh, acidic tangy kick & bold taste. Introduced by breeder Tom Wagner in 1983, it continues to be popular because of its distinctive lime-green interior & striped, two-tone skin & pale green base with contrasting dark green stripes plus, the flavour is "zingy" or "spicy," with a satisfying blend of sweetness. Excellent in fresh salads, adding a striking visual contrast with red & yellow varieties & versatile for cooking. An indeterminate (cordon) type, (reaching 2–2.5 m) keep bearing fruit all season. As they ripen, the light green stripes turn a golden or amber shade. Fruits are typically ready to pick 75–80 days after planting, Seed Count Approx - 15 avg 

 SOWING -  Surface-sown or covered only slightly, Don't allow to dry out but don’t overwater. Keep warm until germination (10 days approx), move to WARM bright light area. After about last frost, transplant out into protected growing pots. Plants need staking & side-shoots removing. Will grow as well inside or out & not fussy about Pots or open ground, Just depends on your needs & space.
