Viola tricolour, Wildflower - Aka Johnny Jump Up - Sun / Shade- As its name 'heartsease' implies, a beauty with a long history of use in herbalism, yet also looks gorgeous blended together with violet, lavender, yellow & white in each face. Edible, so sprinkled on top of salads as a most beautiful garnish. Flowers from April to Sept & is compact enough for rockeries, walls or edging. Good in shade or sun & as a cut flower or used as a dye plant (Annual – Ht: 1ft), Seed Count Approx - 160 to 175 avg 

  SOWING - Winter Groundcover – will self-seed, Sow seed directly outdoors in early spring or in the Autumn before the frosts, They will naturalize easily in most gardens, doesn't need any maintenance at all if the gardener doesn't feel up to it
