It consists of a beautiful mix of semi-double and single California poppies in a 'Thai Silk Formula Mix', featuring blooms in a wide range of colours including soft cream, pink, bright yellow, vivid orange, and scarlet. The plants have finely divided blue-green leaves and produce long, curved seed pods. These poppies gently reseed and naturalize when provided with full sun and well-drained, average to dry soil.   SOWING - California Poppy seeds need light for germination; avoid burying them deeply. This can be sown in the autumn for spring germination or in early spring Cold stratification can enhance germination. In early spring - Place a 1/4 cup of sand and your seed in a plastic bag, label & seal & put in refrigerator for 1 month, then sow after frosts.  Germination  starts in 1-4 weeks. Germination can be spread out over many weeks, so be patient
