Matricaria camomilla recutita, Aromatic Mid Summer Bloom (Yellow Dye plant), German chamomile, also known as wild chamomile, is an annual herb that resembles daisies & is used for medicinal & culinary purposes. Native to Europe, it typically grows in grasslands, meadows, & coastal areas. The plant has feathery, fern-like foliage & small white flowers with yellow centres. These flowers emit an apple-like fragrance & bloom in mid-summer.  German chamomile is often used to prepare tea & is believed to support the growth and health of nearby plants when cultivated. Medically, it is used to alleviate stomach discomfort, aid sleep, act as a mild laxative & provide anti-inflammatory & bactericidal properties. It can be used as a herbal tea & cosmetically as a rinse for blonde hair or as a yellow dye., Seed Count Approx - 500 avg 

  SOWING - Annual grows to 20 in & has feathery foliage with daisy-like flowers, seeds are sown directly in early spring, Will tolerate most soils, but prefers a sandy, well-drained spot & lots of sun, can also be used around the edges of containers with other herbs
