Cucurbita pepo, The Beginners  'Easy', A most accommodating Courgette of distinguished Italian lineage, originating from the town of Genova, this early & notably productive Bush variety is especially commended to the allotment gardener for its open, manageable habit & remarkable ease of harvesting. The handsome fruits are smooth & entirely free from ribbing, clothed in a light greyish-green mottling & carried generously upon compact plants. Growing to approximately 18cm in length, with a gently bulbous extremity, they possess a delicate texture & an admirably refined flavour.
