Pumpkin , Pink Porcelaine Princess (Winter)

Cucurbita maxima, Soft Pink, Smallish Medium size, Trailing, (F1) 100 days. The plant produces trailing vines with good yields of 7–10 lbs., soft pink, medium deep-ribbed, 7 to 8-inch across fruits. These pretty petite pink beauties start out pale yellow, then cream, then lovely creamy pink when fully mature. Multiple harvesting through the autumn is required because pumpkins develop and mature at different times as vines grow, but, for the best pink colour, harvest each pumpkin when a strong dark corkiness has developed on the stem at the top of the pumpkin. Inside flesh has a dark orange interior, excellent for pies, soups or canning. Does not like high heat or too much manure., Seed Count Approx - 6 avg

SOWING - (100 days) A warm spot, well-drained & fertile soil with plenty of composted organic matter & mulch to conserve moisture; Sow insitu after the threat of frost has passed. Sow one inch deep in hills or rows spaced twenty-four to thirty inches apart, Harvest late Autumn near the first frosts.
