Crataegus pinnatifida - A member of the hawthorn family, this small tree bears large, glossy red haws in autumn and winter, similar in size to crab apples, after white flowers in spring. The fruit will last on the tree well into winter but can be used to make a very tasty preserve or used with other fruits in pies. Growing 3m x 3m in 10 years in sun or partial shade. Priced for container standard in a 12 litre pot
